Compassionate Care for Clarity, Stability, and Hope
Experiencing psychosis can feel frightening, confusing, and isolating — for both the individual and their loved ones. You may be struggling to tell what’s real, feeling disconnected from your surroundings, or noticing changes in your thoughts, behavior, or perception. If you or someone you care about is living with symptoms of psychosis, know that you are not alone — and that effective, respectful care is available.
We provide comprehensive, person-centered treatment for individuals experiencing psychosis, with the goal of restoring clarity, safety, and stability while preserving dignity and hope.
What Is Psychosis?
Psychosis is a condition that affects how the brain processes information, often involving a disconnection from reality. It is a symptom — not a diagnosis in itself — and can occur in various mental health conditions or due to medical, neurological, or substance-related causes.
Psychosis can appear gradually or suddenly and often includes:
- Hallucinations – seeing, hearing, or feeling things that others do not (e.g., hearing voices)
- Delusions – strong beliefs that are not based in reality (e.g., feeling persecuted or having special powers)
- Disorganized thinking or speech
- Changes in behavior, mood, or social withdrawal
- Difficulty concentrating or functioning in daily life
Psychosis is commonly associated with conditions such as:
- Schizophrenia
- Schizoaffective disorder
- Bipolar disorder (with psychotic features)
- Severe depression (with psychotic features)
- Substance-induced psychosis
- Brief psychotic disorder
